I was the Environment Art Lead and co- art directed this RPG at MAXIS. Darkspore was released in 2011 for PC. I was in charge of building the environment art team, spearheading the development of the in- house graphics engine and level editor, managing outsourcing, and creating several of the levels. The screenshots shown here specifically show my terrain mesh UV and texturing, material creation, set dressing, and lighting for the levels I worked on. In order to build enough content with the small internal team we had, we outsourced the terrain and environment prop modeling.
